You all know that I love custom-made anything. I really like having something that I’ve designed, that has some special meaning to me. You also know that I have a real affinity for belts. I can’t tell you the last time I wore a standard leather belt with a nondescript buckle. That isn’t in my vocabulary.
I really love Polo belts. They look super cool, and have a bit of a rugged feel that is synonymous with their Argentinian roots. I did a post on this a while back…
Getting a custom polo belt actually isn’t that difficult, nor as expensive as you’d think. I worked with Estribos, the defacto Polo belt company, to create one. They have a great selection of Polo belts available online (all for ~$60), or you can have one made for well under $100. It’s a simple process, just shoot them a note via the contact page letting them know what you want:
The design and the colors
The shade of leather
The buckle choice
After about 3-4 weeks, YOUR belt will show up on your front door…ready for business.
This is the belt I chose. #MrsRCS and I have repurposed out home as the Fort Stovehill Lawn Club, and these are the official club’s colors (hunter green, light blue, and white). Future club members will have the ability to order the FSLC belt from Estribos, as the design is now ‘on file’. Here are some images of the belt:
