The Return of the Mora – Thanks, Allen Edmonds

It’s great to see Allen Edmonds bring back the double monk Mora.  There has been some prodding in the last year or so, along with the double monk releases from a few other companies (see: J. Crew et al).

I was lucky enough to find a brown pair during their hiatus, and think very highly of them.    The Mora is a part of their custom shoe program (among about 20 other models), which does add to the cost, but allows customization down to the welt.  Here are a few that are welcome in my closet any time:

Dark Brown Burnished Calf (Natural Welt)

Chili Burnished Calf (Natural Sole)

Chocolate Suede (Brown Sole)

Merlot Burnished Calf (Black Sole)

Get on board with these…I don’t think these will ever run out of ‘cool’.

Allen Edmonds understands with the Mora, what Bean did not with the Lounger; give the people what they want.
