Sage Advice: A Matthias Kaupermann Idea?

Readers: looking to get your take.  Our friends at Matthias Kaupermann developed this needlepoint belt for Southern Point Co.  It has all the features you’ve come to love from MK, including the ability to use your own hardware as the buckle.  The sage background is adorned with the Southern Point GSP logo (that’s Grayson).  Take a look:

What do you think?  You like?  Dislike?  Any feedback?

Much appreciated…

I like it! The sage green accents well with the colors of the dog and this seems like a nice belt that can be worn casually with shorts and a polo or dressed up a little with chinos and a ocbd.

very nice. i think an additional option with a navy background would also look fantastic. with the orange from grayson’s collar, it would allow me to wear it this fall to my auburn tailgates #WarEagle

I like it but for the length of the leather ends.  Why not make the leather ends to which the buckle is affixed, and the other end that slides through the buckle a touch shorter?  This imbalance of leather ends and needlepoint body is what keeps me from buying one.  Just my $0.02 worth…

Leather could be a little long. They should do college logos they’d get me to buy one!

This will be around $300 I’m guessing. It’s sharp but the friction buckle has never worked well for me.
