RCS Likes: Southern Proper

1. ‘Sweet Tee’ – Vintage t-shirt

2. SP Golf Visor – A buddy of mine saw them a the recent PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando. The good – ‘tall’ visor style…top shelf.
3. Proper ‘Old School’ Polo – RCS has three Southern Proper polos and can attest to their fit and quality. Slimmer cut, but not too slim…the sleeves are just the right length…color holds in the wash…
4. Cotton Collection Oxford – There is no such thing as too many oxford shirts.
5. Cotton Pickin’ Neck Tie – Very nice.

I LOVE it! There's no Proper like Southern Proper. "SP" is like water off a duck's back: natural.

Mike Adams and I showed up at a cocktail party in Nashville once wearing the same red Southern Proper bulldog bow tie. We complimented each others' excellent taste in neckwear and he went back to shaking down donors while I went back to the bar.

Also, is George Gibson's still open in Athens? I spent a lot of time there in college and I was really sad to hear of Andy's passing. He was a great guy.

Southern Proper is great! But careful with those polos… a couple times in the dryer and they shrink quite a bit. Found that out the hard way.

Big fan of the new Bourbon & Cigar bow ties.

I think either George Gibson's or George Dean's is still in Athens. I know Dick Ferguson's has been gone for ages.

I'll have to test this SP polo…I love RL polo shirts.

I'm such a fan of this great company… Give me a boy in that cotton boll tie, and I'll swoon.

I have a crush on every perfect headband they offer…

Too bad Southern Proper doesn't make the Cotton' Pickin' pattern in yellow. Although they continue to feature it on their Web site, they haven't offered this color in years.
