Persol – Made by Hand

This clip has been floating around, and is definately worth a look.  It personifies the ‘cool’ that is Persol.

This is my second pair of Persols – the 2720s (my first pair was stolen…).  I can personally attest to the quality of Persol – you get what you pay for.  These get quite a bit of wear, especially during dressier occasions:

Not only do they look outstanding, but they make their styles in different sizes and fits, so they’ll fit almost any head shape.  Almost…I’m waiting for them to make these (their version of the Wayfarer) in one size bigger:

One of the coolest parts of Persol’s are the silver bars on the arms aren’t just decorative, but small hinges giving them extra comfort and flexibility to fit your face.

I got a pair of 649s last month for my b-day. When my father passed away I inherited three pairs of Persols, unfortunately they are all size 54mm and I needed a 52mm. They are great glasses though and a nice move when you want to skip the Costas and croakies.

My boyfriend has a pair of these and I tease him about how obsessed he is with them! They really are incredible quality!
