Madras (of the Day) and a Tote

Being the huge madras fan that I am, I’m jumping on the Tucker’s ‘Madras of the Day‘ bandwagon. Here’s mine:

Hathaway – made in India, long sleeved, complete with built in collar-stays. I have no idea how old it is, but it has the J. Press-esque flap front pocket and white buttons. One of my favorites.

Oh – I found a tote:

$3 at a local flea market. It’s a little bigger than I originally had in mind, but it was in such great condition, I couldn’t turn it down. I’ll still probably pull the trigger on the Filson for my laptop. Travelin’ light.

Nice dog – Labs are the best.

    Totes are for girls.

Beautiful shirt! I really like it. The tote is nice, too, though I sometimes suspect that totes aren't the most appropriate bags for chaps. However, if you use it to carry a bottle of whiskey, a few cigars, a copy of The Rake, and some books on military history, such concerns are easily dispelled.

Trip / Skip – Thanks, guys.

MLS – that Lab is as is good as it gets. She is my partner in crime…

Anon / LBT – I should clarify – the only time I use totes is when traveling. I don't use them everyday. They work great as a 'catch-all'.
