LL Bean Lounger Boots: RCS Encouragement

L.A.S over at Sartorially Inclined is leading the movement for Allen Edmonds to bring back the double monk Mora model (Red Clay Soul is 100% on board).

This is good inspiration to start another movement – have LL Bean bring back the Lounger Boot. I’m happy to take the lead on this one:

Here goes nothing…
~~~
Dear LL Bean,
For those of us that live down South, there are two perfect shoes produced by you: the Rubber Moc and the Lounger Boots. We don’t get a lot of snow, so there isn’t need for a bunch of laces. Just something to slip on slip off while keeping up that good looking style.
Please start offering your Lounger Boot again – they are sorely missed by quite a few of us.
All the Best,
JRS
~~~
In the meantime, of anyone knows where I can find a size 9M, please let me know.

    Awesome post. I have been sending emails to Customer Service at Bean for the past two years to bring these back. I actually just sent out another one this morning before reading this. I think it may only be a matter of time.

    Love the pull-one style. Perfect for early dog walks. Here's my vote to represent the ladies…

    Great job at bringing back the lounger……I have the old lounger (strapless) that I had back in my college days at Elon College (now Univ.) that have been re-soled 3 times as well as the lace up ones……not sure this picture comes thru, but I call it 3 Bean Boot….

    My husband is 77 years old and has been wearing these boots for over 40 years. I guess Santa won’t be bringing him a new pair this year. I regret that I threw is old gardening Loungers away this summer because they had a teensy hole in the toe.
    The first present he ever bought me was a pair of these boots, so I would garden with him in the damp…that was 30 years ago. You might say they cinched the deal.

    Have had a pair of these boots for many years. Bean recalled them soon after I got them, I told them there was nothing wrong with mine. Many years have passed and they are still in good shape and are worn for short trips everywhere. They shed mud fast and get a real workout in the red clay of Michigan’s U. P.

    Looking for a pair for my grown Grandson, size 12 — HELP!!!
