High Five: The Crown & Caliber Sale Edition

Scrolling on Crown & Caliber’s website is one of my favorite pastimes.  I love that there are so many options, and styles from brands that I’ve never seen.  I’ve also got a running wish list in my head…at different levels.  For example…if I get a nice tax return and have a couple grand to spend…or if I celebrate a major life milestone…or get a huge promotion…or win the Powerball…  I’ve actually got it all figured out.

The good news: Crown & Caliber is running their Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sale.  Here are the details:

$300 Off Promo Code: 300Off
$500 Off Promo Code: 500Off
$1000 Off Promo Code: 1000Off

Here is watches I would get at a few of those levels:

$1000-$2000: The Bell & Ross Vintage Heritage:  I am completely sold on Bell & Ross.  They have such a cool look, almost Panerai-esque, but at a much better value.  This Vintage Heritage comes in at a nice 41mm, and the value is GREAT ($2000).  Don’t forget RCS150 for another $150 discount…

$2500-$5000 – Tudor Heritage Black Bay:  I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.  Tudor Black Bay watches are the BEST value on the market ($3300).  I recently talked a buddy into getting one…he was a Rolex/Brietling guy, and he hasn’t taken it off his wrist.  I wear mine all the time…

$5000-$10K – Panerai Radiomir PAM504 Composite 3-day:  I’ve always thought that the $5K-10K range was a little funny with watches…there are plenty of good options, but why not wait a year, and get to that next level up ($10K+)…  Well, this Panerai Radiomir should cure what ails you ($6200)…the black composite and large 47mm case is a statement piece.  VERY easy to dress up or wear with business casual, this one is sure to turn heads…

$10K-25K – A. Lange & Sohne Grande Large One:  I’m completely in on A. Lange & Sohne.  I’m still learning more and more about their history (which is fascinating), and their watches are works of art.  This is an “I just became an officer of the company” watch, and 100% fits the bill.   While watches shouldn’t necessarily be investments, this one is a value proposition at $21,609.

$25K+ – Patek Philippe Nautilus:  Won the Powerball?  Well, you should Nautilus up your wrist.  This is the dream for me…I absolutely love this watch.  The lines are sleek, and the 37.5mm size is understated elegance.  At $40K, it’s not in everyone’s budget, but a great way to enjoy a world class timepiece without ‘showing off’.

What’s on your list?
