Filson Dry Day Backpack

By all means am I a Filson fan boy.  I have some of their older stuff, which has held up really well, and I have some of their newer stuff, which keeps with all that I’ve come to expect.  The vast majority of my Filson gear is the heavy duty canvas or the tin cloth, both of which patina really well.

I really like the dry stuff that Filson now offers.  They have a duffle, and they have the day backpack.  Given that I try and do a lot of fishing, I can see this having a lot of use while heading out where a submersible bag would be ideal.  The size is good, not too big and not too small.

Anyone have any experience with these?  Thoughts?  Let me know in the comments…

The Filson flagship store and factory in Seattle is a great place to visit.  As far as the bag goes, looks promising.  That being said, you can get a USMC dry bag off Amazon for $25 which does the trick as well…

I have the day backpack and small dry bag  in black. I have used them frequently and have used them on the river a few times. I haven’t had an issue and feel they hold up to what you expect from Filson.
