Classic Tennis Style

I’m not much of a tennis guy, but I do enjoy watching Wimbledon.  Congratulations to Roger Federer for winning his seventh Wimbledon championship.  Watching Federer play is like watching Greg Maddox pitch – he’s like a surgeon.

In honor – how about some classic tennis style?:

Love seeing R.T. up there…”He’s taken off his shoes and one of his socks, and…actually, I think he’s crying.”

Thankfully, tennis shorts have gotten longer, but not Rafael Nadal long. Roger Federer sets the standard for all time for play, titles, and dress. He is without peer.

Having said that, tennis wasn’t more entertaining than when John McEnroe was playing. Remember – he was still highly ranked well into his 30s and his play was so classical. He retired in 1992 at age 33, ranking 20th in the world at the time.
