RCS Likes: Masters Week

This is my favorite week of the year. I like watching the Masters over almost any other sporting event. The course and grounds are immaculate. (Most) of the patrons take watching the event very seriously – we consider ourselves pseudo-marshals. Eating pimento cheese sandwiches.
Some Masters highlights:

(clockwise starting at the top left)

1. The Masters of the Masters – Honorary 2010 starters Jack & Arnie.
2. Fred Couples – 1992 Masters Champion and my idol growing up.
3. Tiger after winning the 1997 Masters.
4. Mickelson’s hop (that wouldn’t have cleared a speed bump).
It was heartbreaking not landing any passes this year. Unfortunately, I didn’t pull the trigger prior to Tiger announcing he was going to play – which drove up pass prices dramatically. Looks like I’ll be watching at home this year. I’ll wear my green blazer. And drink Arnold Palmers.
I’ve grown up playing golf – learning the game from my Grandfather and my Dad. My dad and I still play quite a bit of golf along with my brother (very competitively). Golf has been a part of our family for as long as I can remember. Living in our climate, I’ve had the ability to play quite a bit of golf this year. The ball seems to be going where I want this year…which is a good thing. See you at the turn…

Personally, I am not much for Golf…but I find myself really enjoying the Masters every year…Coverage is great…scenery is spectacular..and sometimes there is gripping competitive drama..
    Great post.

    Totally of topic but…
I recently purchased a pair of Weejuns and was wondering whether or not to add pennies. I'm asking a few of my favorite bloggers about their opinions and will post them on my blog.
    1) Penny or No Penny?
    2) Why?

    Thanks in advance.
