Every once in a while, I’ll stumble across something that I know needs to get on the blog ASAP. I came across an image of this 1995 BMW M5 Touring Wagon, and started digging. It’s known as Elekta, and recently sold for ~$120K. The the full article is on Bring A Trailer, which is where these pictures are from. While I’m not much of a car collector, this one is beautiful. It gives new meaning to the term ‘station wagon’. Here are all the goods. Get ready to drool…

Outside the shooting brake, wagons are one of the most under appreciated vehicle styles. Sadly the crossover SUV seems to have taken their place. Still trying to pitch one to the Mrs. to tote the kids around (when the time comes) but without much luck
