A Worthy Investment: Smart Turnout

Always on the lookout for new watch straps, it’s impossible not to include Smart Turnout – the London-based company that specializes in adding that extra punch to any outfit.  Mainly an accessory company, they do offer classic staples such as blazers, sweaters, trousers, and polos.  Their sweet spot is their accessory catalog.  A recent haul:

Some socks, some straps, and a belt.

Having already been a Smart Turnout customer, their watch straps are the top of the heap.  You will not find a better selection of color choices than Smart Turnout.  They are based on Military colors and University colors – but even without an affiliation to either, they are a great way to give your wrist some character.  Above are ‘Dartmouth’, and ‘Royal Air Force’.

Their surcingles are as nice as you’ll see on the market.  Again – very unique colors that you won’t see anywhere else.  Here is ‘Black Watch’.

Smart Turnout’s sock offerings are again – very unique – and very bold.  The Garnet & Gold socks above are a thicker cotton casual version that will be great with my 986s.  The Navy & Gold socks are traditional dress socks.

The best way to add some color and some punch to any outfit is with the accessories – and Smart Turnout has that figured out.  A very worthy investment.

    I like their socks, are they over the calf?

    Nice choices like the RAF watch band!

    I think their watchbands run 18mm which is too narrow for almost all my watches and I can’t stand to have springbar showing. Wish they offered them different widths,

    Good haul, but why’d you have to go with garnet and gold? Awful colors. Well, bad associations at least.

    @Toad – no, they aren’t OTC.

    @Sir – They have 20mm watchstraps – Household Division, Nato, RAF, Royal Navy, Royal Tank Regiment and Yale.

    What happens when we meet someone who’s put their life on the line to earn the right to wear these colours and they see us wearing them too?
    I hope I’d feel suitably embarrassed.
    There must be something wrong about Smart Turnout knowingly selling accessories to people who they know have no right to wear them. Keep well away.
