2010 Christmas Recap

The 2010 Christmas season has drawn to a close. All the decorations have been taken down. The good Bowl Games are finally on TV. Looking back, I’m a lucky man. Not because of the loot, but because of the families and fellowship of this Christmas season. Being a Georgia-boy, I’ve never seen a white Christmas. […]

Nice post. I have the Filson 257 for a year or two now and it ages nicely. Lost our yellow lab this year so just the black lab now and she was also watching the Christmas feasting from the kitchen gate. Best wishes for a Happy New Year.

Stunning outdoor photos, but my favorite is of the three noble canines.

You are a blessed man.

I grow up in SEC land and Archie was a god unto us. His boys are a definite credit to the old man.

JMW - December 31, 2010 - 12:00 AM

Yep, SEC boys were raised right. :)

Wish there was a better option for us FSU fans, not a fan of the "beige" base for our belt.

RCS Recommends: The Fair Isle Sweater

Being a big fan of sweaters, the Fair Isle ranks very high. They are very versatile – all price ranges and fabrics. The technique is named after Fair Isle, a small island North of Scotland in the Shetland Islands. These sweaters are great – They go with anything from flannel trousers and tassel loafers to […]

Oh man. So good.

Jordan - December 21, 2010 - 2:54 PM

I would pay an obscene amount of money for the the the Rhett given the chance.

trip - December 21, 2010 - 2:57 PM

Mmmm, I don't know about this.

David - December 21, 2010 - 5:09 PM

I must say that I had the chance to purchase the butler some 5 years ago at the Polo store in Tyson's Corner, VA on deep discount for under $100. I passed as I had just bought a new pair of Sperrys, boy do I regret not buying them now.

Geez, those are bad. Do you, by chance, own an El Camino with astroturf in the back, wear visors, or t-shirts with advertising? Garish and gaudy – those are really in bad taste. What a stupid adornment – something akin to what I'd expect to see on womens' shoes.

sweethomeamy - December 22, 2010 - 2:07 AM

I love them all! I especially love The Rhett in red and navy.

Nice! I have a pair of Thinsulate/Gore-tex monk strap Beans and I love them. Enjoy!

Fletch - December 18, 2010 - 11:25 PM

JRS,

Do you know where I could pick up a pair of those in a mens 11, 11.5 or 12? By the way huge fan of the site.

Ben - December 19, 2010 - 12:17 PM

Fletch,
They are, rather unfortunately, discontinued in that form. EBay or the local thrift shops are the best bets.
