Wow…to say that ‘good things last’ has been proven by a couple birthdays this week.  First, Levi’s 501s celebrated 141 years on Tuesday, and today, Barbour celebrates it’s 120th birthday.  Great work, Barbour – here’s to you!  Cheers! While new Barbours are as good as it gets, some of the older ones are really cool….

Ahh..the iconic Levi’s 501s.  I love that these everyday jeans were originally designed as rugged workwear.  The design is 141 years old…  I have a bunch of pairs of Levi’s – most of which are 501s.  I’ve really gotten into the twill versions lately.  In the last few months, I’ve added tan, white, and crimson….
